Omg!! I'm up here on a business trip and I wanted something different to eat, so the guys suggested" Country School". At first I was like" WTH", after I went in and saw the prices I couldn't resist. Very friendly place. The young ladies that work there are very polite and well-mannered. I've been there twice already. Wish we had a place like this back home( Atlanta)!!

Country School is the classic American staple that everyone great American town should have one of, or something similar. If your local comparable places would be Chicken N Dip or Dairy Mart, but what sets Country School apart from these other classic American staples is the quality of their chicken. I would recommend if you are 30 minutes away that coming to Country School is worth the trip for a bucket of chicken. Country School also has great burgers and ice cream and so much more though. I remember as a child my uncles would stop there on the way out to my grandparents house (about a 30 minutes away drive) and grab chicken for the whole family, we have a big family. Anyways long story short, in the last 25 years the quality of the found has not changed at all. Another important thing to know, the indoor dining area is pretty small and somewhat limited, they do also have an outdoor dining area.
Country School is "as good as it gets" for fast food in the area. I have tried burgers, fried chicken and now I have been turned on to their chicken strips! The chicken strips are huge pieces of breaded chicken, breaded in the same manner as the bone-in pieces. There has been a time where I have visited Country School and ordered the chicken strips 3 days within one week. They are that delicious! Besides the burgers and chicken, their ice cream is also fantastic. I have heard good things about other items on their menu and I am looking forward to trying something new on my next visit.
i am often haunted by the wofting scent of spectacular fried chicken, i am also impressed with how amazing it is to share great food with friends, family, and the only thing missing was not missing. fun! i could tell you about the wonka treats at this local, home grown, and ... well,... i got my mom hooked on their icecream, her dog goes on on a starvation diet, i end it with wing dings. this establishment has the three, food: family: and FUN. when i went in to place an order, i loved how much fun the community loves country school! thanks for giving rochelle a proud prominance. i was wondering where the music was?
Very cute place. Only stopped for ice cream. Moose Tracks was my flavor. Yummy!

Amazing fried chicken. Cole slaw was the bomb - that's a good thing. Menu is extensive, something for everyone. Staff is very informative and accommodating. I will definitely be back. A must to eat at!
